Interdisciplinary collaborative practice resolves disputes by meeting the emotional, financial and legal needs of separating couples.

This three day course is designed for psychologists 
and counsellors, financial planners and lawyers who are new to collaborative practice or who have undertaken basic training.

Learn about the value of the Collaborative team, the role of each of the disciplines and how you can work as part of an integrated collaborative team.

Sandy Hirschfield is a registered psychologist, nationally accredited mediator and experienced collaborative professional. She has worked broadly in educational and developmental psychology, family therapy and individual counselling, practiced over three decades. Sandy currently specialises in conflict resolution and is an experienced trainer in alternative dispute resolution. She mediates a range of disputes, and coaches clients in emotional management and healthy communication skills, to best manage their separation. Sandy is passionate about ensuring that children thrive during and after separation, providing comprehensive co-parenting education to separating couples.

Tricia Peters MBA MPAcc is a Certified Financial Planner™, Collaborative Professional and trainer, Mediator and financial planning academic.Tricia is a Financial Planner with over 15 years experience assisting clients with financial decisions during and after separation. Tricia has worked with separating families since 2002, and has worked in collaborative cases as a financial neutral and financial coach. She is the Secretary of the Victorian Association of Collaborative Professionals (VACP).

Marguerite Picard LLb, BJuris is an Accredited Family Law Specialist, Mediator, Collaborative Professional and trainer, Marguerite is a Family Lawyer with over 30 years experience in the legal industry. She has extensive experience as a litigation lawyer and negotiator, but now practises only in Mediation and Collaboration. She is the President of the Victorian Association of Collaborative Professionals (VACP).
